Construction has started on the first Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Canada, which will open in Ottawa in a few years. The hotel is anticipated to be finished in spring 2025 and will take the place of the Rideau Carleton Casino. A 150-room hotel with 22 suites, 1,500 slot machines, 40 live-action table games, a sportsbook, high-limit gaming, and a Baccarat room will all be featured in the new resort. Aproximately 1,900 new direct and indirect construction jobs as well as ongoing employment possibilities will be generated by the private investment development in Ottawa.
