Hard Rock Rockford closes temporary casino in anticipation of resort opening

The temporary Hard Rock Rockford casino on N. Bell School Road is no longer open. The temporary gaming facility, which has been open since November 2021, will close in advance of the permanent Hard Rock Casino Rockford location, which will be located approximately 2,000 feet east of its current location.

Prior to Labor Day weekend on Thursday, August 29, Hard Rock International, the gaming and hospitality conglomerate owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, will open the permanent Hard Rock Rockford. The casino, spanning 175,000 square feet, will feature almost 1,300 slot machines, 50 table games with live dealers, a poker area, and a Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook.
