Gambling despite its ability of generating income had caused more harm than its advantage. Many lives had been damaged as a result of gambling. Many in their rush to make up for their loss had degenerated into addiction. Many had taken into drugs and alcohol. Many had found themselves in financial mess they didn't anticipated. Not only that, many could be found suffering from psychological problem and lots of other vices. Because some could not get assistance in time, they had committed suicide. All these atrocities are as result of gambling. Despite all these, the rate of irresponsible gambling is growing and no one seems to be interested. If this is not put

addressed and regulated, the harm caused by gambling will continue to outweigh its benefits.

I completely understand your concerns and acknowledge that gambling has the potential to inflict significant harm on individuals and society as a whole. It is indeed true that many lives have been negatively affected by gambling, leading to addiction, substance abuse, financial struggles, and mental health issues. The psychological impact of excessive gambling can be devastating, pushing individuals into a vicious cycle of trying to recover losses and eventually leading to risky behaviors and negative consequences.

Moreover, the correlation between gambling and mental health problems cannot be ignored. Studies have shown that individuals with gambling addiction are more likely to experience conditions such as depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. This highlights the urgent need for intervention and support systems to address the negative consequences of gambling.

One of the key challenges in addressing irresponsible gambling is the lack of proper regulation and oversight. Governments and regulatory bodies have a role to play in implementing policies and measures that curb the negative impact of gambling. This can include strict licensing requirements, age restrictions, limits on advertising and marketing, and the provision of support services for problem gamblers.

Education and awareness campaigns are also essential in order to inform individuals about the potential risks associated with gambling and promote responsible gambling behaviors. It is crucial to create an environment where people understand the importance of setting limits, seeking help if needed, and approaching gambling as a form of entertainment rather than a means of making a profit.

It is clear that more needs to be done to address the harmful effects of gambling. This requires a concerted effort from all stakeholders, including governments, regulatory bodies, gambling operators, and communities. By implementing effective regulation, promoting responsible gambling, and providing support services, we can strive towards minimizing the harm caused by gambling and ensuring that its benefits are truly maximized.

It is truly a two-edged swords. There are some people that have truly benefited from gambling. They have won and won so big in gambling. There are some people as well that have lost so much om gambling and still addicted.

With a responsible gambling, gambling cannot cause harm as all risks have been taken care of. Gambling is full of risks as its outcome is not guaranteed. I'm order to prevent excessive losses and guaranteed profit, responsible gambling is needed for all.

To some people gambing have caused more benefits , it's good they understand the proceeds and others , without the gamblers gambing to earn they would be making more loss , understanding the nature of it is important

I agree that gambling can cause more harm than good. It's important to be aware of the risks and to gamble responsibly. However, I also think that it's important to note that gambling can be a fun and exciting form of entertainment for many people when done in moderation.

Gambling has indeed caused more harm than good. This is because of rampant irresponsible gambling, yet there are many who still engage in it irresponsibly. There should be more awareness and education done to reduce these effects. If people don't change and start doing it more responsibly, they will continue being bitten.
