In many places, it is against the law for minors to gamble, and there are strong laws and rules preventing it. This applies to limitations on age for accessing casinos, buying lottery tickets, and using online gambling services.

Gambling operators and platforms frequently have age verification procedures in place to prevent underage gambling. These can include asking for identifying papers during registration, like a passport or driver's licence. Additionally, organisations and projects that encourage responsible gambling offer instructional materials and raise awareness of the dangers and requirements of underage gambling.

Underage gambling can have major detrimental effects on the health and well-being of young people, hence it is crucial that the gaming industry and society as a whole take proactive measures to avoid it.

It is also important for individuals to take action to prevent themselves from engaging in underage gambling. This can include being aware of the age restrictions and laws in their area, self-excluding from gambling activities, and seeking help if they feel they are at risk of developing a gambling addiction.

Parents and caregivers can play an important role in preventing underage gambling by educating their children about the risks involved, monitoring their internet and gaming activity, and limiting their access to gambling-related content.

Overall, preventing underage gambling is a shared responsibility that requires collaboration between the gaming industry, government organizations, and individuals. By working together, we can create a safer and more responsible gambling environment for everyone.

When I was underage, I wasn't even exposed to betting and gambling, let alone involving in it. Therefore, I was not protecting myself against it. However, the underage should be helped these days to protect themselves.

Unlike now when online gambling have become vogue, in the past, it was physical gambling platforms. Children were not allowed to get closer to where they were playing gamble talkless of participating in it. It was offensive then.

During my youth period, gambling had not became more popular, logical and public norm. There wasn't online gambling then but physical casino. During our time, it was considered unreasonable for children to discuss any gambling affairs, let alone of engaging in it. No child must be found around the areas of gambling sites. Therefore, the issue of underage gambling didn't arise.
