Head of Maine gambling regulator set to return to work after offensive tweets

Monday will mark the return of Maine's top gaming regulator to work following a week-long unpaid leave. The punishment was for making a questionable remark about a white nationalist march and a sexist slur on Twitter.

The 66-year-old CEO of the Gambling Control Unit has also been mandated to complete social media and workplace harassment training.

The chief regulatory officer expressed regret for his actions in a statement on Friday.
