After announcing this week a $100 million expansion of the site that will bring a 200-room hotel and new facilities to the location, Hollywood Casino Columbus might soon add resort to its moniker. Long before this week, Penn Entertainment and Gaming Leisures & Properties Inc. reached an agreement with the Columbus Building and Construction Trades Council, which coordinates, represents, and supports the work of the council's 19 affiliated unions in the Columbus area, regarding the addition of a hotel to Hollywood Casino Columbus. The hotel will also have a fitness facility, an outdoor patio, conference space for small gatherings, and food and beverage options.
