Hollywood Casino fined $45,000 for allowing people on PGCB's self-exclusion list to gamble

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that five people who signed up for the list were permitted to make bets at the casino's online Barstool Sportsbook. The company that runs the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse was fined $45,000 for allowing five people who were part of the iGaming Self-Exclusion Program run by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to gamble online. The online Barstool Sportsbook at the casino in Grantville, Dauphin County, was open to the five players. According to the PGCB, online casinos must reject bets from players who have added themselves to the iGaming Self-Exclusion List and refuse them gaming privileges and benefits.

This is right. Since these people are on the list of people that are into self exclusive programs, I don't think it is proper for them to still be allowed to gamble. This may ensure that they fall back to their gambling activity.
