After receiving a bomb threat over the phone, the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway was evacuated for a number of hours on Friday night. It was planned to reopen the gaming establishment in Kansas City.
Following a man's phone threat to commit suicide, the casino was initially evacuated at approximately 7:30 p.m. They told the guests to get out.
Police from the locality searched the gaming property. A bomb was not discovered.
To be safe, the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission also instructed its agents to conduct an additional search at the casino.
