How are the cards revealed in Baccarat?

In Baccarat, the cards are revealed according to a specific set of rules. Here's how the cards are revealed in the game:

1. The dealer deals two cards face-up to both the Player and the Banker positions on the table.

2. The values of the cards are determined by their face value, with Ace worth 1 point, numbered cards worth their face value, and 10s and face cards (King, Queen, Jack) worth 0 points.

3. If either the Player or the Banker has a total of 8 or 9 points from the initial two cards, it is called a "natural" and no more cards are drawn.

4. If the Player's total is 0-5, they are required to draw an additional card. If their total is 6 or 7, they stand and do not draw any more cards.

5. After the Player's decision, the Banker determines whether to draw a third card or stand. The Banker follows a more intricate set of drawing rules based on the value of their initial two cards and the value of the Player's third card (if drawn). These drawing rules are predetermined and do not require any decision-making on the part of the Banker.

6. If the Banker has a total of 0-2, they always draw a third card.

7. If the Banker has a total of 3, they draw a third card unless the Player's third card is an 8.

8. If the Banker has a total of 4, they draw a third card if the Player's third card is 2-7.

9. If the Banker has a total of 5, they draw a third card if the Player's third card is 4-7.

10. If the Banker has a total of 6, they draw a third card if the Player's third card is 6 or 7.

11. If the Banker has a total of 7, they always stand and do not draw any more cards.

12. After all necessary cards have been drawn, the values of the Player and Banker hands are compared. The hand with a total closest to 9 wins.

It's important to note that in Baccarat, the Player and Banker positions are just names and do not correspond to the actual players or the dealer. The rules for drawing cards are fixed and predetermined, and the outcome is determined solely by the values of the cards.
