The desire for excitement and adventure can be a strong motivating factor in the development of gambling addiction. People who experience boredom or dissatisfaction in their daily lives may turn to gambling as a way to experience the thrill of risk-taking.
This desire for excitement can be addictive and may lead to increasingly risky behavior. In addition, research has shown that people who are more impulsive or sensation-seeking are more likely to develop gambling problems.

Today we have different kinds of gambler with different aims, some gambler just bet to catch fun due to boredom while some better with the sole aim of making money, those that bet with the aim of making money always become addicted on the way.
