Ever since the rate of crime has been increasing as a result of increase in school drop out, the life of the society has been at risks. The security situation has been so poor such that the protection of lives and properties are not secured. This criminal attitude is as a result children involvement in excessive gambling who as a result of inability to meet up their ends finally resorted into crimes. It is therefore not surprising when children are shown among the criminals arrested on national tellies. When they are interviewed, they would hold the economic condition which led them into gambling and finally into crimes. As a result of that, many souls of children that suppose to be assets in future are now languishing behind bars. What do you think should be done in order to renew our children?.

The increase in crime rates among children is indeed a concerning issue that requires attention and intervention. To effectively address this problem and renew our children, several steps can be taken:

1. Education and awareness: It is crucial to educate children about the consequences and dangers of gambling and involvement in criminal activities. Schools, community organizations, and parents should work together to impart knowledge and raise awareness about the negative impacts of such behaviors.

2. Early intervention and support: Identifying and addressing the root causes of children's involvement in gambling and crime is essential. Early intervention programs should be implemented to provide support and guidance to at-risk children, such as counseling services, mentorship programs, and recreational activities that promote positive behavior.

3. Strengthening family and community support: Ensuring that children have a stable and supportive environment is vital in preventing their involvement in criminal activities. Strengthening families through parenting programs and support networks can help address the underlying issues that lead children to engage in risky behaviors.

4. Providing alternative opportunities: Creating opportunities for children to engage in positive extracurricular activities, sports, arts, and vocational training can redirect their attention away from gambling and crime. Investing in such programs and resources can empower children with skills and knowledge to succeed in life and decrease their vulnerability to negative influences.

5. Collaboration between law enforcement and social services: Collaboration between law enforcement agencies, social services, and community organizations is crucial to address the complexities of the issue. Ensuring effective communication and coordination between these entities can help identify and support children who are at risk of engaging in criminal activities.

6. Access to quality education: Improving access to quality education is essential to reduce school dropout rates and provide children with the tools they need to build a better future. This includes providing resources for schools, reducing educational disparities, and implementing programs that encourage academic achievement.

7. Rehabilitation and reintegration: For children who have already become involved in criminal activities, efforts should be made to rehabilitate and reintegrate them into society. This involves providing access to educational and vocational training, counseling, and ongoing support to help them overcome their past mistakes and reestablish themselves in a positive manner.

By implementing these strategies, we can work towards renewing our children, reducing crime rates, and creating a safer and more prosperous society for all.

I don't believe gambling is the major cause of children dropping out of school. In western countries where government take proper care of her citizens, the rate of school dropouts is less. When you compare the rate of drop out in Africa with that of developed countries, you will Africa is high especially Nigeria. The reason is simply due to high cost of living and ecnomic downturn. Many parents can not afford the exorbitant school fees, transportation fares, high cost of feeding. The government is the cause of all the economic crisis. Therefore, stop laying the blame on betting.

I think It is true that there are several factors that contribute to school dropout rates, and gambling may not be the primary cause of it. Economic hardship, inadequate government support, and poverty are issues that can significantly affect a child's education.

Definitely crimes are not necessarily directly due to greed it can happen due to non fulfillment of necessary and essential needs that is why gambling and its interest are not directly responsible for crimes indeed actuallly to be honest mostly .
