How did the gamblers cope during the pandemic period ?

I think during the pandemic there was actually low cases of offline gambling shops and I believe that many of them didn't open during that period , so how did the gambling shops cope , like how were they able to suceed during that time ,I would love to hear your opinion , because I know that so many gamblers placed different things in consideration then
