How do you adjust your strategy when facing a tight player in the big blind?

When I face a tight player in the big blind at my casino table, I adjust my strategy by cautiously attacking that player's blind. I raise more often to put pressure and find out if they are truly tight or just slow-playing. But I bet cautiously, with minimally increased bet amounts, to avoid frightening them off. I attempt to steal the big blind peacefully, without causing too much trouble for my opponent. My raises are an invitation for information, trying to learn their style. Only then do I truly develop a strategy against that specific type of opponent.
