Trusting your instincts can be valuable in many aspects of life, including gambling. However, when it comes to making informed decisions in gambling, it's essential to strike a balance between trusting your instincts and relying on logical reasoning and information. Here are a few points to consider:

Emotional Decision-Making: Instincts are often driven by emotions, and in gambling, emotions can cloud judgment. It's crucial to be aware of your emotions and not let them solely dictate your gambling decisions. Emotions such as excitement, frustration, or overconfidence can lead to impulsive and irrational choices that may not be in your best interest.

Informed Decision-Making: To make sound gambling decisions, it's important to gather information and analyze the relevant factors. This includes understanding the rules and strategies of the games you play, being aware of the odds and probabilities, and considering your own bankroll and risk tolerance. Relying solely on instincts without considering these factors can lead to suboptimal choices

which can negatively impact your chances of winning.

Pattern Recognition: Trusting your instincts can sometimes be beneficial when it comes to recognizing patterns or picking up on subtle cues. For example, in games like poker, intuition and gut feelings can assist in reading opponents' body language or determining if someone is bluffing. However, it's essential to balance this with logical reasoning and not solely rely on instincts. Consider the broader context, analyze the probabilities, and assess the risk before making a decision.

Self-Awareness: Understanding your own biases, tendencies, and limitations can help in finding the right balance between instincts and logic. For instance, if you tend to be overly impulsive or easily swayed by emotions, it may be more beneficial to lean towards logical reasoning and rely on information rather than solely trusting your instincts. On the other hand, if you have a track record of good decision-making based on instincts in certain situations, it may be worth considering them. Regular self-reflection can help you identify areas where you may need to rely more on logic or intuition.

Practice and Experience: The more experience you gain in gambling, the more you can develop a sense of when to trust your instincts and when to rely on logical reasoning. By practicing and evaluating the outcomes of your decisions, you can refine your decision-making process and find the right balance that works for you. Over time, you may develop a better understanding of the situations in which instincts are more reliable and those where logical reasoning is essential.

Overall, striking a balance between trusting your instincts and relying on logical reasoning is crucial in responsible gambling. While instincts can play a role in decision-making, it's important to base your choices on objective information, probabilities, and an understanding of the game. By combining both intuition and rational thinking, you can make more informed and strategic choices in gambling.

Logical reason is best to adhere with rather than instinct. Instinct sometimes are not to be relied upon because at times it may contradict logical reason which to some opinion leaders considered to be abnormal or unethical.

Though I have not found myself in this situation before but if it happens like that, I will always trust my logical thinking than trusting my instincts because instinct goes with emotions most of the time which may cause losing.

It can be hard to know when to trust how you feel and when to think things through logically. I think both are important. Your instincts come from experiences you've had, so don't ignore that gut feeling. But it's also good to slow down and think through a decision using your brain. Going with your heart but also using your head helps make sure you're not missing anything.

Both instincts and logical reasoning are working together. In gambling , logical reasoning should be given priority.
But there are times all logical reasoning would fail and the gambler is in dilemma, the next solution would be the instincts.
