How does the juice affect the odds of a moneyline bet with a +200 underdog?

I have seen underdogs with moneyline odds of +200 but betting on them, I did not win as much as $200 for each $100 bet. How does the juice impact the profit we can make with an underdog moneyline bet? In my view, the juice (commission for the sportsbook) is subtracted from the pure odds and reduces the profit margin for the underdog bettor.
