A level 2 count in blackjack is performed by assigning point values to each card in the deck. For example, in the Hi-Lo count, the point values can be either +1, 0, or -1, with the 2-6 cards being assigned a +1, the 7-9 cards being assigned a 0, and the 10, J, Q, K, and A cards being assigned a -1. The point values are then added to the running count as the cards are dealt in order to get a more accurate count of the cards remaining in the deck. This type of count is more complex than a level 1 count, but can provide more accurate results and a better advantage for the player.
