Guts poker is a variation of the classic card game poker. It is a fast-paced, high-stakes game where each player is dealt a hand of five cards and the player who makes the best hand wins the pot. Guts poker is most often played with two or three players, although up to five or six can be accommodated. The game starts with each player anteing into the pot. The dealer then deals out five cards to each player. After the cards are dealt, each player has a chance to declare either "in" or "out". If all players declare "in", then the remaining players turn up their cards and compare to determine the winner, who takes the pot. If any player declares "out", the remaining players take back their cards, and the pot is split among them.
