it is no longer in use that government usually that everything that's going on within their state and this include lottery winning. there's a particular person over here who won about $1000 and he doesn't know the amount of tax to pay on it.

One of the questions I want to ask you guys is that How much tax do you pay on a $1000 lottery ticket in PA? I will be looking for your response in the comment section below.

The tax to pay is not designed by the winners but by the government. This has made it somehow difficult for someone to decide to pay any amount. There is always a fixed account on any amount that's won.

If you win a $1000 lottery prize in Pennsylvania, you will need to pay taxes on your winnings. The tax rate for lottery winnings in PA is 3.07%, so you would need to pay $30.70 in taxes on your $1000 prize. Keep in mind that this is just the state tax you may also be required to pay federal taxes on your winnings.
