There are many different kinds of ways to scam people and many people often become victim of such kind of scams. Internet is being used by many people to scam others. However, you may not believe but offline lottery scams are also quite common in many countries. This involves printing some bogus lottery tickets and selling them. So, how could you spot such scams in your real life?

Most times I actually check if they are not licensed to operate because there are so many lottery platform that are probably not licensed to operate and inorder not to get scammed you have to watch them properly

Be wary of any "lottery agent" who contacts you out of the blue and asks for money upfront. Also, if you are contacted by someone claiming to be from a lottery and they ask for your personal information, It may be a scam

indeed , there are many cases like it in my country as well where they call you with your name and saying you won a lottery and now you need to pay taxes to receive your money and that is where the scam part of the process starts actually indeed .
