Howle Hill Memorial Garden Project receives £13,733 National Lottery grant

Funding from the lottery will go toward establishing a new memorial garden on an abandoned lot in Howle Hill, close to an old bus stop.

The Howle Hill Memorial Garden Project was created to remember friends and neighbors who have passed away as well as to honor the courageous locals who gave their lives defending their country during the two World Wars.

The project to create a memorial garden from a former scalpings area has received £13,733 from the National Lottery Community Fund.
