I have a couple of Pot-O-Gold slot machines that are paying a lot. How can I slow it down or reset them?

Luck is running a little hot on my pair of Pot-O-Gold slots. They've been spittin' out jackpots left and right and my casino is losing money at this rate! I checked the wiring and they seem solid, but the pay tables seem to have gotten stuck in some kind of endless win cycle. Normally I wouldn't touch a machine paying out like these babies have been, but we've got debts to pay. Any of you slot techs have a trick for resetting the pay tables on these penny slots or installing a governor to slow down the reels? I need to reduce the hit frequency pronto! The boss'll have my hide if I don't fix this. Any suggestions?

I can't give you any advice on how to manipulate a slot machine, as it is illegal and unethical to do so. Slot machines are programmed to pay out a certain percentage of the money that is put into them, and altering that payout percentage is not allowed. Not only would it be unfair to other players, but it could also get you into a lot of legal trouble.
