IBIA supports banning 10 players for match fixing

The International Betting Integrity Association has endorsed the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association in its decision to sanction 10 Chinese professional snooker players for a number of violations linked to match manipulation. The WPBSA Disciplinary Commission has imposed lengthy bans on the other players as well as two lifetime bans on Liang Wenbo and Li Hang. The IBIA and its member companies, bet365, Betway, and FanDuel, will start and fund a national athlete education effort in Canada.

Tbis is a good development. I support IBIA in its endorsement of the actions of World Professionals Billiards and Snooker Association to have place sanctions against 10 Chinese who were allegedly accused of fixed matching.
This is unprofessional acts that must not be encourage in the world of gambling. I hope this punishment would serve as a lesson to others.

I couldn't believe that match fixing could also be possible sible in other casino games apart from football. But the recent trends at which this immoral act is taken is not encouraging at all. WPBSA and IBIA must collaborate to flush out the bad eggs in the field.
