Illegal gambling operations raided in Ohio

Several illegal gambling operations were raided last week in Akron, Ohio following a police investigation. Authorities seized 150 gambling machines, $93,188 in cash, two handguns, and suspected drugs during the searches. Suspects were ordered to appear in Akron Municipal Court on gambling violations. Some of the raided locations were gambling parlors and others were liquor stores. The police investigation into suspicious activity at the properties lasted seven months. A judge then approved search warrants for the operations.
