Illinois Gaming Board adopts new advertising rules

The regulations governing the advertising practices of casinos, sportsbooks, and video gaming terminal operators have been revised by the Illinois Gaming Board.

The new restrictions on how gaming operators can advertise their establishments were approved by state gaming regulators last week.

With immediate effect, gambling companies are forbidden from mentioning anything that would imply that a player can play without taking any risks. Therefore, phrases like "risk-free" and "free bet" are not permitted.

This is good thing that accurate description of the activity is being made to be live for the viewership of the public so that they can decide whether to play or not on such a thing that involves risk actually indeed in my opinion .
