Illinois Gaming Board sued over alleged player protection violations

In the Land of Lincoln, a veteran is suing the Illinois Gaming Board and several administrators for canceling a gaming license.

The Vemco company, which aims to collaborate with minority-owned companies to provide casinos with equipment, was also impacted by the Illinois Gaming Board's licensing authority.

Vemco applied for a casino supplier license from the Illinois Gaming Board in November 2021, but even though the company tried to withdraw its application, it was rejected two years later. Vemco was purportedly turned down because of the Illinois Gaming Board's complaint against Veterans VGT.
