Illinois Gaming Board suspends harmful NFL wagers

Following a letter from the NFL to the Illinois Gaming Control Board requesting modifications, the board temporarily suspended certain NFL prop bets.

While some of these markets, like injuries, have never been offered by regulated sportsbooks in the United States, others were removed from the market for the NFL games this weekend. For instance, the state no longer offers the option to wager on whether a kickoff would result in a touchback.
