As we all know that casino is not that popular in Nigeria, casino companies themselves are not helping the situations. Some of them that are into Nigeria are not regarded as legit because they are not licensed by government authority. They can not open their branches here for fear of actions against them by government agencies.

Casinos are not that popular in most Africa countries so they might not be making enough money as the sport betting platform if they decided to establish anything here. And Nigeria government might want to be charging them the same amount most sport betting are charged

I think it is high time the casino industry in Nigeria wake up to the reality that the country is not yet ready for their business. They should stop trying to operate in the country without the necessary licenses and permits. This will only lead to more problems for them in the future.
But i don't really think it's about the licensing, most sport legal betting site in Nigeria also have casino games on the same platform. I think many people here are just not that familiar with casino

It is the duty of the government to regulate activities in the country and if any casinos want to operate, it should obtain licence and because we have so many casinos that are trying to operate in the country without obtaining licence, which is not what the best thing to do. In such case, the government will not allow them operate.

There are may be many reasons why the Nigerian government may he slow in legalizing casino. Among those factors may include the fact that there are no many players of the casino games in Nigeria. Bedsides, Nigerians don't really like it, my guess.

I don't really understand your take on this, because there are so many online casinos in Nigeria . In fact, most of the sport betting companies have integrated casinos into the online platforms and I've come across several of them which I have played several times. I'm a fan of online casinos with the Msport which is based in Nigeria.

That's why I said the reason why Nigerian government has not really legalized the physical casino websites. I didn't say there are casinos in Nigeria from my post. Besides, I have read it somewhere that there are casinos in some notable hotels in Nigeria especially in Lagos.

The Nigerian government are not really taking casinos business very seriously because in the past we used to have different kinds of Casino companies just about everywhere but not how . They are no longer in existence. We only have online casinos.

I do not think the government have made a huge impact ,what I Know is that they are actually making money off the taxes and others of the casino and that's the only mode or something they are adopting
