Imperial Pacific International casino seeking resolution of legal dispute via US Supreme Court

Because it still owes millions of dollars for its Imperial Palace casino license, Imperial Pacific International's future in Saipan is still unknown. Despite the casino being closed for three years, it wishes to take its case to the US Supreme Court because it fears losing its exclusivity.

The casino has not been able to provide the necessary funds, nor has it paid its yearly license fee in years. It has consistently maintained that COVID-19, not its numerous legal and regulatory infractions or its never-ending barrage of lawsuits, is the cause of its financial difficulties.
