In January, Nevada Casinos Saw $1.27B in Revenue Despite a Decline on the Las Vegas Strip

In January, Nevada's casinos made a lot of money, about $1.27 billion, from people who like to gamble. But, it was a bit less than December's record.

The famous Las Vegas Strip didn't do as well, earning $686.2 million, down from December. This was the first time since June 2023 that the Strip didn't make more money.

Other areas like downtown Vegas did better. Slot machines were a big reason for the growth.
