In January, Ohio's Sports Betting Handle Drops, Revenue Soars

In January 2024, Ohio sports betting had less money wagered compared to last year, but more revenue earned.

Most of the money came from online betting, with FanDuel making over half of the revenue. ESPN BET and other operators saw drops in their handle and revenue.

The ban on certain bets may affect future numbers. Ohio casinos also had a decrease in revenue compared to the previous year.
