Maine's sports betting handle surged to $47.6 million in March, marking a 40.8% increase from February and the highest since the legal market opened last November.

However, adjusted revenue decreased by 41.9%, totaling $2.7 million, the lowest since regulation began.

Tax revenue reached $270,607, with players winning $44.6 million. Maine's two licensed operators operate through tribal partnerships under a law granting tribes right.
