In October, Delaware experienced a surge in sports betting activity, with the handle reaching $10.66m, marking a substantial increase of 39.70% compared to September's $7.6m. Although this figure was down 21.28% from the previous year, it stands as the highest recorded handle for the entirety of this year. Additionally, revenue also saw a notable boost, hitting $2.62m, which is the highest amount generated so far in 2023. This represents a 6.27% increase from October 2022, and an impressive surge of 173.07% from September 2023.

Delaware Park emerged as the leading market player, boasting a handle of $2.54m and revenue amounting to $368,904. Bally's Dover followed closely behind, reporting $1.20m in bets and revenue of $172,532. Harrington Raceway showcased a handle of $554,958, resulting in $79,437 of revenue. Furthermore, brick-and-mortar establishments in Delaware contributed an additional $2m in revenue from a handle of $6.4m.
