In poker, what is a turn?
The fourth community card delivered face-up after the flip (the first three community cards) in poker is known as the turn. After each player in the hand who is still in it has had a chance to act, the third betting round begins with the turn.
Players' betting choices may change once the turn card is revealed since they will have a clearer sense of the potential cards that their rivals may be holding. The turn can present a chance for a player with a powerful hand to bet aggressively and try to take more chips away from their rivals. The turn could be the best opportunity for a player with a poor hand to fold and take their losses.
