Indianapolis Colts player investigated for betting on own team's performance

The NFL is looking into Indianapolis Colts player Isiah Rodgers for allegedly breaking the league's gambling rules. Rodgers is accused of betting heavily on NFL games, including on his own team. The majority of the bets, which were placed on a friend's account, were between $25 and $50. Despite the fact that sports betting is now allowed in Indiana, Rodgers appears to have placed wagers while inside the Colts' practice facility, which is a clear violation of NFL gambling regulations. In addition, Rodgers has drawn criticism for placing a prohibited wager on his own club.
