Indonesia government set to clamp down on online gambling sites

In order to eradicate online gambling across the country, the central government will form an integrated task force in the coming week.

The President of Indonesia has confirmed that his ministry will concentrate on shutting down online gambling sites, with law enforcement agencies handling the enforcement part.

But he also said that since online gambling is a global problem, banning websites and bank accounts won't be sufficient to end it entirely.

This is definitely a move in the benefit of the country the population of the country is mostly religious and that is why such actions are always on the card for such countries and their so indeed these type of actions will harm the gambling industry in a significant manner
