Indonesia minister calls for online gambling eradication

In honor of the 79th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day, Communication and Informatics urged all ministry representatives to work toward outlawing internet gambling.

He mentioned that one of the current battles being fought by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is to rid Indonesians of harmful content from the internet, which includes online gambling.

The minister emphasized that efforts to eradicate online gambling must be made firmly and consistently in each ministry work unit.
