Today, the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission will hold a virtual meeting to discuss a proposed casino in Cedar Rapids. There is public access to the meeting. A two-year state moratorium on new gaming licenses expiring on June 30th will see Peninsula Pacific Entertainment and the Linn County Gaming Association jointly reapply for a gaming license to operate a casino in Cedar Rapids.
