A veteran Ipswich Town kit man has been disciplined for breaking betting regulations.
Before the 2014–15 season, the FA imposed stringent new gambling regulations that stated that all football players, managers, coaches, club employees, directors, and licensed agents at all professional game levels are prohibited from placing bets on the sport globally.
According to the FA report, after learning of the charge, Ipswich Town suspended the employee from his work; it is now believed that he has resigned from the team.
