AK is a decent start to a hand, but I wouldn't call it a "made" hand just yet, partner. It's got potential, sure enough, but potential don't pay the bills in poker. A made hand is one where the odds overwhelmingly favor you to end up with the best five cards by the river. AK provides opportunity, but don't guarantee nothing.
There's still four community cards left to deal, and any one of 'em could give another player a bigger, badder hand than your AK. Maybe they pick up three of a kind, or four of a kind even. A flush or full house is certainly possible. Heck, even a straight or two pair could be enough to beat you! AK is a solid starting hand, but until the river comes down and your outs are eliminated, it ain't officially "made". The pot's won or lost at the end, not the start. So keep your eyes on the action!
