In my home country, Nigeria, gambling winnings are not taxable. If you hit jackpot in casinos and you won millions of Naira in Nigeria, the amount you won is not taxable except if you want to give the attendant some tips.

It is not taxable in my country which is also Nigeria, when ever you won huge amount of money it is not taxable, the money belongs to the winner and no one have the right to ask you for any tax or money for anything it is all yours

It is not taxable in Nigeria and that is why you will find out that most of the Nigerians receive your winning easily without any hiccups but in some developed countries l, you would need to pay for taxes before you receive your winnings.

It is absolutely true because the government will not receive taxes on the winnings that you have in Nigeria but in some developed countries like United state of America, you will pay taxes on winnings.

I haven't heard a case where a winner really pays any tax on his winning but it may be possible for some gambling to be paying some taxes to the government. They may not hammer much on this to prevent double taxation.

The government really do tax our wining here ,I think they charge more tax to pay , so you should be ready for more charge , they actually charge the tax in form of value added tax ,this is the reason why you should make preparation for that
