In the relegation zone of the standings, one spot above last-place Seraing with just one point remaining, Kortrijk is clearly having trouble with their performance.

Their most recent competitive game ended in a disheartening loss at home to Gent, who were heavily favored, by the score of 0:4. They undoubtedly hope to be competitive enough in the up and coming Belgian Cup to at least partially make up for their poor play so far this season.
It makes sense that the hosts would be considered the big favorite going into this match, but if we discount their most recent resounding victory, they don't appear to be a team that can be totally relied upon.

It was a pity I didn't watch the matches of tge above team scheduled for December 20. But assumed that both teams would struggled it out with each other. They all have equal chances, not minding their past records. One thing I like about football is that it's result is unpredictable. Strong team can unexpectedly be defeated.
