Here in Nigeria, it is very common noticing more underages especially students engaging in gambling. Their excuse is that they are using their proceeds from gambling to take care of their studies. Some allegedly claimed they are responsible for their educations. How justified their reason is what I cannot determined. But my fear is that some of these children are not applying responsible gambling and that is what has constituted moral decadence in the societies. Most of these students who are driven with the feelings to make more winnings have eventually become addicted. They engage in extended gambling as a result of pursuing their loses. Not only that, some of them are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The worst part of it is that our government is not making effort to arrest the situation at nip before it escalate.
