Is it possible for the government to own a casino?

It is extremely possible for the government to create casino where there will be fair play and everybody will trust . I have seen government of some countries establish casinos that are top-notch and top-of-the-line for people to come and play . I do not see anything wrong in the government doing such to generate revenue for the country.

I understand why the government would be keen to establish a casino in order to rake money in which could be used for the development of the country. However, the negative backlash from several prominent members in society would be too much to handle and so this idea would be a non starter

Yeah, it's very possible for government to own a casino, casino is a very legal and lucrative business that have a lots of profit and it's very popular among all people, it's very possible for government to own the business

I would be very glad to see the government of my country organise a casino themselves and make it a very big place where people can come in and wager to make money for themselves. It will be a wonderful gesture.

It would be a wonderful gesture ,the only thing is that they are more concerned about the revenues they are getting from taxing gamblers , in my country the government doesn't seems to make preparation for that
