Is it unlawful to count cards?
Despite widespread misconception, card counting is not prohibited.
The casino games don't like it for understandable reasons, and if they perceive you are counting cards, they have every right to restrict you from their tables. However, they cannot have you taken into custody. You just have to know the rules and regulations of blackjack game before engaging in it.

I will not advise any playing blackjack should cheat, even if they can not take you to custody you just have to know the rules and regulations that are being written down so it not advisable to count card when playing backjack

Card counting is not tantamount to cheating, even though quite a number of gamblers are under the impression that it is. It is not against the laws governing blackjack as a game, so I do not see how it would be cheating.

The practice of card counting in blackjack is frowned upon by the more experienced players, but there is no legislation or guideline that is blunt in totally denouncing it as a strategy or move
