There is a relationship between the number of decks used in a game of blackjack and the house edge. The house edge varies slightly depending on the rules and number of decks but in general, the house edge increases as the number of decks in play increases. Specifically, the house edge decreases when a smaller number of decks are used, and increases as more decks are added to the game. For example, the single-deck blackjack strategy house edge is a little lower than the house edge in a game with multiple decks. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an inverse relationship between the number of decks in play and the player's chances of winning, as represented by the house edge

Busting is slightly less likely when there are more decks in play. Because there are more cards in the shoe overall thanks to the additional decks, players are less likely to get valuable cards that would make them bust.
