Is there ever a time when I should stand on a hard 12?

Let me start by saying I am a experienced player who has dealt with this situation many times. In my view, standing on a hard 12 against a dealer upcard of 6 or lower is usually a good idea. The chance of the dealer busting is high and even if you bust, you have a good chance to push with the dealer. But against a dealer 7 or higher, I would likely hit for a better hand as the chance of the dealer winning without busting rises significantly. In summary, against a dealers 6 or lower, I would stand on a hard 12, but against a dealer 7 or higher I would likely take another card.
