Isaiah Lee departs the Iowa State football program after being charged with gambling

Following an inquiry into unauthorized sports betting, Isaiah Lee, a defensive lineman for the Iowa State Cyclones, has departed the school's football team. The linesman was first accused of tampering with records with the goal to conceal his identity so that he could place bets on his team. Allegedly, 115 wagers totaling $885 were made through Lee's account. It was discovered that Lee, who began as a linesman in all 12 of Iowa State's games the previous season, had placed bets on those games using his account.
