Jake's 58 Casino appeals $26,000 regulatory fine issued by New York Racing Commission

The New York State Gaming Commission fined Jake's 58 Casino Hotel on Long Island for failing to obtain the required gaming licenses for over twenty-one of its employees. The hotel has filed an appeal against the fine.

After finding that 26 employees were still in violation of their licenses, the gaming commission fined Suffolk OTB $26,000 on April 1. On the grounds that the infractions date back to the time Delaware North owned the casino, Jake's 58 is contesting the fine.
