Jake's 58 Casino Hotel set to gain approval for Long Island expansion

For the first time since it debuted in 2017, Jake's 58 Casino Hotel plans to invest $200 million to expand the Long Island gambling complex.

The 210 rooms at the on-site hotel will also be updated as part of the $200 million budget. However, the Islandia Village Board must approve the project before work can start.
Suffolk consented to a 50-year lease with Delaware North in exchange for the funding. Delaware North, however, consented to permit Suffolk to end the lease early should its financial situation permit and the company have the resources to fully acquire the land.
