The government is seeking an "intrusive amendment" to reimpose advertising restrictions on licensed operators, which Spanish gambling has been made aware of.
By limiting gambling advertisements on social media platforms, outlawing bonus promotions, and prohibiting the use of public figures, the amendment will reintroduce advertising restrictions.
With effect from November 2022, the Spanish government has implemented the Royal Decree's advertising laws, restricting the time slot for gambling advertisements on media platforms to between 1 and 5 AM.
